My Free Zoo is a Simulation game developed by upjers that can be played on PC (Steam), and Windows. Limit 4 per group per visit. Not valid for special events, cannot be combined with any other offer, and tickets only valid the day of purchase. My Free Zoo was the number PC game in April 2023, based on the number of monthly active users or players. Museums for All tickets are not available online and must be purchased in person at the ticket windows. Cardholder must be present for purchase.

Please present the following at the ticket windows to purchase your tickets:

SNAP EBT/WIC Benefit: As part of the Museums for All cooperative, the SF Zoo offers $3 Admission tickets to SNAP EBT and WIC cardholders every day of the year.

Please check with your local health and human services agency to see if you qualify for the program below.

A utility, phone, or other local bill with your name and address, along with a current, valid photo I.D.

Proof of San Francisco residency is required and can be established by providing one of the following: Through a partnership with the City and County of San Francisco, the San Francisco Zoo is pleased to offer reduced daily admission tickets. Reduced Admission for San Francisco Residents For more information and to schedule a docent tour for your school group, please call (415) 753-7122 or e-mail. Requests must be made at least 4 weeks in advance of visit. Tours are available during the months of September through March (subject to change) and tour topics correlate with current California Science Content Standards (SCS). Our docent guides lead educational walking tours for school groups of 15 or more (subject to availability).

Payment is accepted on the day of the visit only.

Accepted forms of payments are cash, credit/debit cards only.

Minimum is 15 people to qualify as a group.

An email will be sent to you requesting additional information.

Reservation requests must be made 3 weeks in advance of the visit date by emailing Guest Services at.

Just show your same-day Muni receipt, transfer, or monthly pass at the ticket window. Visitors who take Muni to the Zoo receive a $1 discount off the price of admission. We encourage you to use public transportation when visiting us.
